Camp Updates
Lee Chambers the junior running back has been moved to the cornerback position. Chambers has been barried behind the depth chart by a number of talented players. This forced the team to move Lee over to the corner position where there will be less competiton. Sam Shields was able to make the switch last year, and he now has a great chance to catch on with the Green Bay Packers as a nickel corner.
Chambers will be competing with Brandon McGee, Davonta Davis,Cory Nelms, and Kacy Rodgers for the top nickel spot. If Lee has a strong camp he may be able to see some signifigant playing time in 2010.
On a side note Laron Byrd pulled a hamstring and is listed as day to day by the team. He should be at full strength when the season roles around.

I just wish Lee could have done this about 2 years ago, when it was apparent then he wasn’t going to see much playing time. I hope he learns fast, because he’s going to need it!
